Meditation in nature and Yoga is our passion as well as bushwalking of course! In addition to bushwalks, we provide sessions to assist provide balance and meaning in all aspects of your life. Suitable for beginners and experienced yogis and meditators. Bushwalk the ‘Gong provides, private sessions, group sessions, online sessions and corporate events for all aspects of yoga.

As our bushwalking events became more popular, founder Jenae Johnston realised that many people were connecting with her personal journey combining meditation in nature as a technique to live in balance.

Through meditation in nature, we fuse of nature and yoga fundamentals, bringing a holistic relationship between ourselves and nature. We believe that we are already one with nature and the universe, but we have lost our way through the path of evolution and the modern world… now is the time to peel away our illusions and reconnect with nature.

Our unique techniques and teaching styles allow individuals to reconnect with the true nature of their being and understand that the journey to happiness and freedom is all within us, waiting to be revealed.

We base our teachings on traditional yoga techniques as well as our own natural methods that focus on meditation in nature. Our fusion unites yoga and nature into a holistic and comfortable experience, suitable for beginners and those who are looking for more in their life.

Jenae’s yoga journey started at the age of 13 where she stumbled across a copy of the Bhagavad Gita, an Indian spiritual masterpiece which touches on the foundations of yoga. Since then she has followed various yoga techniques with a particular passion for Dhyana, the 7th limb of Yoga which focuses on meditation.

Through Bushwalk the ‘Gong, Jenae has led many self healing events and now brings them into their own dedicated space here. Jenae is a qualified Ashtanga/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher with in the lineage of Krishnamacharya. She continues to study Yoga to expand her own personal journey and also to pass onto others.

We offer many different modules to suit anyone, from those that have never practiced yoga or meditation, or anyone who is looking to enhance their own practice.

Our signature experiences include; meditation in nature, nature earthing, forest bathing (not a real bath!) or Shinrin Yoku, guided meditation, nature healing and journalling to name a few…

All experiences are reflective of the needs to the group or the individual and modules can be tailored specifically for your needs.
